Clade Song 12

Bio Char

do you believe in this leaving

pyrolysis or paralysis             lysis all the same – cell death – prison       caramelized ?

the absence of oxygen          formerly known as suffocation               is required to prevent COMBUSTION

does it burn all                         the way down

powdered milk
            weed

we must create             a new disturbance regime

what if you can’t take your mind        off of it            biomass       fuel       crispening

habitable space             for hyphae                     once upon a          phosphorus transfer

within a new context                  there is much that is inconsequential

inoculate the structure                                                                 to accelerate colonization

amend and
amend
